Come say hi to Pack454 at the annual @edhcsd Trunk or Treat! A fun family night with trick or treating, food trucks, music and more. Happening at the EDHCSD tonight (the 28th) from 4-6pm.

November Pack Meet: Branches of the Military

Mark your calendars for our Monthly Pack Meeting! Scouts will be learning about the different branches of the military and doing a few activities to show appreciation for our Veterans.

Hike - New York Creek Trail, EDH

Pack 454 had a great turn out and a successful first hike of the year at the New York Creek Trail in El Dorado Hills! They also made an awesome Scarecrow. Make sure to come check it out at the El Dorado Hills Community Services District at the Annual Trunk-of-Treat on the 28th!

Pack Hike - New York Creek Trail

Hey Pack 454! Are you ready for some hiking? Our first Pack hike of the year will be the New York Creek Trail in El Dorado Hills on Saturday, October 15th @ 9:50am.

After the hike, your Scout can participate in making a scarecrow for the El Dorado Hills Scarecrow Contest to be displayed at the CSD.

This is a great opportunity for you and your Scout to review The Outdoor Code and Leave No Trace Principles. Look for any adventure requirements that this hike could complete in your Scout's Handbook. 

Guide your Scout in packing their own backpack for the hike. Make sure they include the Cub Scout Six Essentials for hiking: First Aid kit, filled water bottle, flashlight, trail food, sun protection, and a whistle. I would also recommend some bug repellent. Scouts can wear their pack Class B t-shirt.
